El Despues

After the storm comes the calm...and so does after the 3-day party. Let's see....it seemed we were out of town, in a parallel dimension...
We got a nice bungalow, in a nice neighborhood, 15-20 minutes from the beach by car. There weren't beds for everybody but we had air matress/sleeping bags and a porche. The weather was HOT, summer comes early in this place.It was 11 of us in the house, we had a big party Saturday...went to the beach Sunday, BBQed in the back yard in the evening, pancakes for breakfast. Talks, music, food, friends, relax, not so much, thanks everybody for such an amazing weekend.
When are we doing it again...mmm?? Ivana wasn't so happy when i told her the police came. And I didn't mention there were THREE cars!!

The fence equilibrium

In theory , many things can be seen as there being a certain equilibrium. It's hard to explain in just a few words but the idea is the following. Some people loose weight, some people gain it. Some people shave, others grow beards. You move into this city others are leaving...and you can keep thinking about examples until you reach the fences. Yes, some fences are put up, just like in Mexico, and others are knocked down, like the one in the back of my house. And as much as I disagree with the border approach, it was my turn to be involved in proving the equation. Might there be science behind this tragic-comic situation. In summary, R=reverse and D=drive, got it? The car had been previously tested by parking it into a space smaller than itself, and this time again it proved tougher than iron.

FUN!

That's the emotion I have when the weekend is coming to an end. I'm home trying to finish reviewing this paper, not that easy, but i'll have it done for tomorrow. The time spent with the family was really good. I will have to miss tonight's dinner though...

Persecucion/Persecution, Interrogatorio/Interrogatory, Travestis/Transvesties...and so it goes...
I just think that not all the questions have answers, specially when you expect to get them from somebody else. Sometimes you are not even allowed to ask and others you just have to play games.

Facing another weekend

I'm particularly tired today. I guess going out two nights in a row and then having to work all day did it. I need some more sleep!!
So it's Friday and I have to face it: no resting on weekends. Too many things are already planned and I don't feel like missing any of them. And this time i'll also have to come to the lab...
Still i'm in a good and positive mood, just lacking energy right now. If Jackson turns off the lights again to use the UV they might find me sleeping in my desk. And Beethoven playing in the back...ohh nia, it's relaxing.
I'm not done with the blogging yet, i'm feeling inspired to share some feelings.
But my timer just went off!!
